About Us

In 1987, the founder of Remote Safari Company left his hometown of Amsterdam and moved to Nigeria, where he immersed himself in African culture, an experience that would shape his future. In 1989, he relocated to Nairobi, Kenya, where he first encountered the vast open plains and their rich wildlife. After his time in Kenya, he traveled to Zimbabwe, and later in Malawi, he finally brought his dream to life.

Established in 1996 and with headquarters in Dar es Salaam, Remote Safari Company is a midsize ground handler providing excellent services in both the northern circuit and the southern circuit, which is home to us. As our name already indicates, we not only like to show our guests the well-known national parks and white sandy beaches, but we also like to go off the beaten track and to create a real exchange between locals and visitors.

 Specialized in the southern circuit of Tanzania, with in-depth knowledge of the region, experienced guides trained inside the parks, a float of well-maintained safari vehicles and favorable contracts with accommodations of different categories, we can offer you a comprehensive service for your clients in this unspoiled part of Tanzania. All our tours are tailor-made according to your wishes and preferences. We listen carefully and translate your client’s dreams into reality. We like to accommodate our clients as much as possible in small-sized lodges and tented camps, which will put them in direct contact with nature, wildlife and the local population. Game driving in well-known natural parks are alternated with immersions into local life, visits to tribal communities, strolls along markets, nature walks, canoe trips and mountain biking.
