Nyerere National Park

Spanning more than 55,000 square kilometers, Nyerere National Park is a true wilderness. The Rufiji River winds through the park, home to elephants, lions, and wild dogs. The landscape is diverse, from open plains to dense forests, making it one of Tanzania’s last true frontiers. A visit to Nyerere is an opportunity to experience Africa in its rawest, most untamed form.
