Nyikani Migration Camp

average rating is 3 out of 5

A true mobile safari experience, Nyikani Migration Camp moves with the Great Migration, placing you exactly where the action is.

December–March: The camp sits in the Ndutu region, offering effortless access to Lakes Ndutu and Masek prime territory for cheetahs, lions, giraffes, and nearly two million migratory wildebeest and zebra. February brings calving season, when an astonishing 8,000 wildebeest are born each day.

May–October: The camp relocates to Northern Serengeti near the Mara River, where river crossings unfold in dramatic fashion-crocodiles, hippos, big cats, and the thundering herds themselves.
The camp’s 13 airy tents feature earthy colours, billowing fabrics, and colourful bedspreads hand-painted with lilac-breasted rollers. Each tent includes electric lighting, universal charging point, writing desk, digital safe, private veranda, and indoor & outdoor lounge chairs. En-suite bathrooms offer wardrobes, twin basins, flush toilet, and a classic safari bucket shower. With 20m spacing between tents, privacy is guaranteed.
