The famous Ngorongoro is so much more than just one crater. The best way to discover the highlands and other craters is by walking. Accompanied by a Maasai guide, a shepherd and his donkeys you trek 4 days from te crater to Lake Natron, sleeping under the stars in comfortable tents.
Itinerary
Day 1:Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha.
Day 2 – 3: Game drives in Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Park
Day 4: Head to the Ngorongoro for a game drive
Day 5: Start the trek to the first campsite of Bulati
Day 6: Discover the beautiful Empakai Crater
Day 7: Walk through Maasai land to the Acacia campsite
Day 8 – 9: End the trek at Lake Natron with the possibility to climb the Ol Doinyo Lengai
Day 10: Drive back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home or a beach extension
